  Wash by hand, dry standing up, and oil the board when it looks thirsty.

  Wipe it, keep it away from heat, and oil it once a year.

• Signs and decor

  Dust it, keep it out of the weather, and refresh the finish once a year.

  Machine wash cold, dry low or flat, and keep it off an open flame.
