The story
Slip your thumb through the ring and the two wings hold the pages down, so you can read with a cup of coffee in the other hand.
We cut them as a running dog, a cat and a plain wing, from hard maple, cherry or black walnut, whatever is on the bench that week. Each is sanded smooth and oiled. The shape and wood you receive depend on what is on the shelf when you order; if you have your heart set on one, ask us before you buy and we will tell you what is there.
Small enough for a coat pocket, and a good thing to tuck into a birthday card.
